I received my Masters in Social Work (MSW) from

the University of Southern California after graduating

from Boston University with a BA in Psychology.

I received my CPC (Certified Professional Coach)

from the Fowler International Academy of

Professional Coaching.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) I’ve honed my clinical skills in a variety of settings over the past 20 years with individuals, couples, families and groups in schools, clinics, and hospitals with a special focus on teens.

I am a born listener and an inveterate student. I read and digest all the latest academic and professional literature pertaining to teens and parenting of teens. I bring this knowledge to bear in both diagnosing underlying issues and now, as a CPC, in prescribing a course of action to address them and to help my clients and families get to where they want to be.

I am a parent to two teenagers and one grade school child and know the joys and frustrations of juggling a family and a career all too well. Raising kids of my own has enhanced my understanding of the challenges of being a teen and of being a parent of teens. It is, ultimately, what led me to begin Strategic Parent.

I’m inspired to help families sort through the teenage years and the clutter inherent in each family’s life. By prioritizing your needs and leveraging my first-hand and human approach to parenting, I will help you to optimize hectic family schedules with better time management and overall efficiency.

I served as the Interim Executive Director at the Children's Museum of the Arts (CMA) and thereafter became President of the Board of Directors where I currently sit on the Advisory Board. I was honored with their Community Service Award in 2014.
